What Is Paint Ball?
With more than 10 million people playing paintball each year in the United States alone, and with 1.9 million who will play at least 15 times each year, it’s no wonder why this American sport has reached Ladyville!
Exclusive to those 12 years of age or older, Paintball is a fun sport developed in the 1980s in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with dye-filled, breakable, oil and gelatin paintballs, propelled from a device with air, called a paintball marker.
Paintballs are composed of a non-toxic, biodegradable, water-soluble soy-based polymer.
Games are played on fields of varying sizes and settings. A game field is scattered with natural or artificial terrain, which players use for cover.
Rules for playing paintball vary, but here at Adventure Zone just some of what we offer include capture the flag, medic, team deathmatch, search and destroy, predator and prey and many more!
Depending on the variant played, games can last from seconds to hours, or even days in scenario play. Paintball promotes teamwork, planning and good-natured competition.
An ever-increasing number of companies (large and small), schools and youth groups are all incorporating paintball as a powerful tool into their strategic team development plans. Paintball is not limited to just companies, however as boy scouts, churches, frats, sororities and groups of people are among those utilizing paintball. It also serves as a fun twist for Belize locals to enjoy their weekends playing paintball with friends and family.
If any of this spurs your curiosity to experience the game for yourself then feel free to join us at Adventure Zone!

- Neutral player: If you have any problems in the field, i.e.: gun is not firing, problem with mask etc. the players must raise their gun up in the air and shout for a Referee, A Referee will call you a neutral player by pointing at that particular player with an action no players are allowed to fire at the neutral player or change their position whilst neutral.
